Founded in 2004, Café con Leche (CCL) Media is a production company based in Atlanta, GA with an office in Durham, NC.  Dilsey Davis, founder of CCL Media partnered with the Community Reinvestment Association of NC to develop the award winning telenovela series, Nuestro Barrio which was the first Spanish Language series to air on English Language television in the US.  This successful program was just the beginning of success for CCL Media’s creative niche of creating quality programming that entertains, engages, and informs.


CCL Media produces content in both the United States and abroad.  From conceptualization of an idea to final post production, CCL Media can tailor services across a variety of platforms from broadcast media to film to web based e-learning.



Entertainment Education


CCL Media creates entertaining vehicles to address social and economic issues such as HIV and financial education.  Entertainment Education (Edutainment) particularly serial drama is a highly effective tool for affecting behavior change.  CCL Media has also been contracted to produce narrative style video content for

on-line learning tools.



Casting


Because we produce projects with diverse talent, we provide referrals for casting talent in the Raleigh/Durham and Atlanta markets, specializing diverse talent.  CCL provides acting classes and the business of acting classes throughout the year.

CCL Media

With a Master’s degree in Public Health, 14 years experience in the health communications field and financial sector, Dilsey combines this training with her experience as a writer, producer, director and actor of television, film and theater to bring fresh perspectives to traditional entertainment models.


Dilsey has directed narrative projects for US and international agencies.  In addition to directing projects with CCL Media, she has also directed for partnering production company, DDC International.  She is committed to increasing diversity both on-camera and behind the scenes and offers internships and acting classes to female and minority talent.

Megan began working with CCL Media in 2009 as a translator and soon afterwards developed the skills to create e-learning modules in English and Spanish.  Megan continues to work as a literary translator.  She has degrees from DePaul University and the University of Texas at Dallas.  Her translations from Spanish include boosk by Alejandro Zambra, Juan Emar, and Arturo Fountaine.  With all the latest and greatest “virtual” technology, Megan found the transition from Durham, NC to Zurich, Switzerland seamless.
